Denise Burch

Born and raised in a small town in Louisiana, Denise graduated from nursing school in 1983 and then went on to work for the Louisiana State University Health System in 1984. There she gained her extensive clinical experience in the areas of ER, ICU, orthopedics and surgical post-op as well as home health. Denise moved to Mississippi in 1994 after her retirement from the LSU Health System.

PPS Plus Software lured Denise out of retirement and into the role of Coding & OASIS Review Consultant in 2008. In this position she has been an invaluable resource for numerous agencies, solving complex coding problems and ensuring clinical accuracy in their OASIS.

Away from the office, Denise loves to travel, read, and collect art, but when she needs a creative outlet, she turns to her sewing machine, where she loves to design and sew for family and friends. She is married and has 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter.
