I (thought)read in the “Bible” of coding the V58.62 code, Current/Long-term Use Antibiotics should not be used for short-term Abt administration either oral or IV modes.

Adtually, the bilble (coding guidelines) says that there is no specifics on how long a patient has to be on antibiotics or if it is PO or IV. Generally taught is that agency sets there own guidelines. Most use the guideline for anytime a patient is receiving IV antibiotics or if on more than 2 refills of oral.

@Carol.
I din’t think your idea was great cause I’m sure that the large administrations would certainly help little constituents of the society. It’s connectivity to Magento Developer is very true . Let’s hope for lesser and just mild diseases instead of contagious.

Matt….my comment did not contain an “idea,” but a question as to whether or not it is ok to use the V58.62 code for short term use/administration of antibiotics whether orally, IM or IV.
