PPS Plus Serves Up Food, Fun and Education at Annual Event

Posted on May 26, 2010 in Press Releases

2010 Crawfish BoilSome of PPS Plus Software's closest friends and colleagues from across the region joined us on May 7 for our 2010 Crawfish Boil.

The day featured Southern-celebrated food, music and fun activities and an all-day ICD-9 coding course presented by education director, Jennifer Warfield, RN, BSN, HCS-D, COS-C.

PPS Plus Software employees proved to be much more than Home Health Edition experts as Account Executives and IT Staff put on their aprons for the day and prepared more than 200 pounds of crawfish for more than 150 guests.

In the end, the traditions of the annual event once again brought co-workers, business partners, friends and families together for an old-fashioned day of easy, casual fun that more than lived up to events past.

The annual event, started in 2000 by company president John Shinn, is our way of showing thanks and appreciation for the many people we work with on a regular basis, while also getting the chance to know them on a more personal level.

"It is important to me that we give thanks and recognition to the people who work so closely with PPS Plus Software. I want them to feel like part of our family," he explained. "When it comes down to it, the crawfish boil is nothing more than a cook-out meant to bring together the PPS Plus Software family."
