Event Date: March 25, 2010

The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) surveys will be mandated later this year. Studies show a direct correlation between satisfaction and outcomes, so CMS has decided that patient satisfaction surveys will help to impact quality of care. What do you need to know about CAHPS? How will participation (or lack of participation) impact agency reimbursement?

This one-hour session will give you the details, explain the methodology and language choices, and guide you on specifics about vendor selection. You'll learn about the "dry run," and when official surveys begin, sampling periods, and the agency role in survey questins and distribution. As with publicly reported Outcome Indicators, you'll learn when and where outcomes will be reported, as well as how agencies can use the results for change and improvement.

FREE admittance. Non-Customers are welcome to attend!
